Growing up, Yaritsa always loved making things. From Barbie-sized cakes created out of soda bottle caps and paint, to miniature houses out of shoe boxes. She always had a little composition notebook filled with sketches and in High School went through a fashion design phase. In college, however, is where she finally was able to unite my passion for art and love of computers.
Yaritsa earned her BFA from the Long Island University in 2001, receiving the Award of Excellence in Digital Arts & Design. She has over 8 years of creative experience in print design, brand identity and packaging design. She started PixieGirl Designs in 2004 and has been fortunate enough to work with a wide variety of clients who have an equally wide range of needs.
Her work has been recognized with such awards as Creativity Award of Distinction, The Communicator, American Graphic Design Awards and American Packaging Design Awards.
