Derek Metz is an architect who has worked on museum, residential, hotel, retail, and renovation projects up and down the east coast. Originally from Connersville, Indiana, Derek earned his Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University and a Masters of Architecture from Syracuse University, where he was the recipient of the American Institute of Architects’ Henry Adams Award. Derek is a registered architect in New York state and a LEED accredited professional.

Derek draws his mini monster inspiration from kitchen gadgets and human anatomy. Stay tuned for his next creation, “Cornea on the Cob.”
